Treva was first introduced to balloons in 1996 when the family business began building balloon columns for different conventions. In 2001, Treva joined the Central Oklahoma Qualatex Network as one of the original founding members. In 2002, Treva took her CBA exam and passed with a 99%. In 2003, she attended the 2003 International Balloon Arts Convention held in Chicago, Illinois to see the design range that had become legend. It was there that she became intrigued with twisting and was captivated with all the possibilities. This was the beginning that led to the wider world of clowning and face painting. She face paints and twists animals and wristlets at corporate parties. Treva joined the Central Oklahoma Clown Association in Oklahoma City and became active in the association winning the First of May Award from COCA in 2004 for the best twister of
all new clowns in their first year, and best female clown in 2006 from HoHo’s COCA. She won a COQBN education scholarship in 2005 from the Central Oklahoma Qualatex Balloon Network to the 2005 Summer Balloon Camp held in Las Vegas, Nevada, and took 3rd place in the Betallatex twisting contest announced at Summer Balloon Camp in 2006. She traveled to Minnesota to work at Balloon-A-Palooza in November 2006 and worked with Balloontown USA in Cincinnati in November, 2007, and Float the Convention in 2009. Treva traveled to Shanghai, China in 2007 to work with various artists at the Kim Tom International Clown Festival. She was fortunate enough to win a trip to Mol, Belgium, for Millenium Jam. She was an instructor at the 2009 Summer Balloon Camp and will be returning to teach at the 2010 Summer Balloon Camp
